Including Feral Cat Consortium (FCC) as a beneficiary in your will provides long-term support to our mission. Make a lifetime gift through a bequest by directing your attorney to include FCC in your will when it is drafted or revised.
You can designate a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or a portion of the residual of your estate. You can also bequeath specific assets to FCC, including stocks, real estate or other tangible property. Sample language is below:
I give to the Feral Cat Consortium, 4 Summerhaven Court, Madisonville, LA 70447, _____ percent of my residuary estate (or the sum of $_____, or a description of the properties, securities, etc.) for its operating funds.
All bequests pass to FCC free of estate taxes, and will lower the overall size of your estate for tax purposes.
